She holds a BASLP (Bachelor in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology), an M.Sc. in Psychology, and an MBA in Hospital Administration—bringing together clinical knowledge, psychological insight, and systems thinking to deliver holistic, person-centered care.
Dr. Goswami has worked with leading institutions including Apollo Hospitals (Guwahati), Dr. B. Barooah Cancer Institute, and Visha Therapy Centre (Mumbai). Her areas of expertise include autism and social communication disorders, cochlear implant rehabilitation and auditory-verbal therapy, language delays, motor speech and swallowing disorders, augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), and trauma-informed therapy. She is also a certified Sensory Integration Therapist and an active member of professional bodies such as ISHA and TASLPA.
In 2015, she founded Holding Hope Centre for Speech & Hearing—envisioned as a multidisciplinary space for integrated, family-centered care. Originally established in Guwahati and now based in Greater Noida, the centre offers a wide range of services including speech and language therapy, occupational and physical therapy, behaviour therapy, special education, psychological services, and expressive therapies such as art, music, dance, and yoga. The centre also provides tele-rehabilitation to reach individuals in remote and underserved communities.
Dr. Goswami is known for her culturally responsive approach to therapy. She integrates music, rhythm, and multilingual contexts into her work, recognising that communication is not just functional—it is deeply tied to identity and belonging.
Beyond clinical practice, she is actively involved in training parents, educators, and young professionals, and collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to promote early intervention and inclusive care.
Through Holding Hope, Dr. Sudeshna Goswami continues to create supportive environments where individuals are empowered, families are guided, and every voice is given the opportunity to be heard.
